An opportunity for scholarship money!

Hey Youth Bowlers! Join us for our 16th Annual Scholarship Tournament. The tournament runs from Wednesday, December 27, to Saturday, December 30. Shift times are 10 am and 12 pm. This year, the Farmington Hockey Association has donated $4,000 to the scholarship prize fund.

Congratulations to Tavien for being selected All Honors for our conference. Tavien has never missed practice or a match. He worked hard recruiting new bowlers for the team and helps out his fellow teammates. Thanks Tavien for all your hard work!

Another high school bowling season has come to an end. Each one of these players made improvements! Unfortunately, we are losing three seniors. The season starts in August!

It's not to late to join! We changed practices to Thursday and Fridays at Cedarvale Lanes, 3:45-5pm. Matches on weekends through mid-November. No experience or equipment necessary!

We have changed practice days! Starting next week we will be practicing Thursdays and Fridays through mid-November at Cedarvale Lanes. If interested and not sure, please come check out a practice!

Practices have started and you can still join!

Practice: Every Tuesday and Thursday 3:45pm - 5pm, Cedarvale Lanes starting August 8.

Matches: Saturdays, occasional Sundays, start generally about noon last about 4
Hours

Costs: $150 for the season (through November), jersey, must have black pants for matches. You do not need your own equipment.

Minnesota High School Bowling (MHSB) www.gobowlingminnesota.com
- Is a club program administered by the Bowling Proprietors Association (BPAM) and is governed by a set of rules that have been modeled after those of the Minnesota State High School League.

- Is for boys and girls in 7th to 12th grade (6th graders may practice with team) and offers the opportunity to earn a varsity letter.

- Is a fall sport. Conference competition typically is held from early September through mid-November. Conference tournaments are completed by mid-November. There are several postseason teams that teams can qualify for that take place from late November through early December.

- Is for students of all experience and skill levels.

- Uses the Baker-system. Five to eight bowlers each bowl one or two frames to complete a single game. It is a unique and exciting competition format for both players and spectators.
