On October 29, the oldest living veteran of the 6888th Postal Battalion, Mrs. Romay Johnson Davis, will celebrate her 104th birthday in Montgomery, Alabama. Ms. Romay is a member of the Dexter Avenue Baptist Church, which will be holding a birthday celebration. (Yes, THE Dexter Avenue Baptist Church where pastor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., organized the Montgomery bus boycott in 1955).
True to her Army WWII service, Ms. Romay LOVES mail. We would love to see her receive 104 birthday cards for the occasion.
