This job offer is for a DENTAL ASSISTANT for a gorgeous looking 4 chair practice in Arlington, VA. We are a highly motivated and forward thinking team and we are looking for a leader in our back office.

PLEASE only apply if you have great leadership qualities and are interested in being a back office manager dental assistant. We prefer RDA's but will interview DA's as well. Sorry, this is not for a new graduate, we want an organized back office manager and are willing to compensate accordingly. You MUST be a team player, great with people, have good communication skills, and be a responsible person. Most importantly, you must really enjoy serving your patients and have a natural enthusiasm for the field of dentistry.

You must be familiar with taking impressions, x-rays, crown/bridge procedures, most aspects of cosmetic dentistry, and be motivated to continue learning.

This is for a FULL TIME position starting immediately.

While most childhood thumb suckers stop on their own, a percentage seem to continue in private for decades. For some, thumb sucking may even be a lifelong habit.

Vigorous thumb sucking can have many effects on the teeth and mouth. Such as:
* overbite, where the front teeth protrude out from the jaw and mouth
* other bite issues, such as the bottom teeth tipping inward toward the back of the mouth or an open bite, where the top and bottom teeth don’t meet when the mouth is closed
* changes to the shape of the jaw, which can also affect the alignment of the teeth and speech patterns, such as the development of a lisp
* sensitivity of the roof of the mouth
