Sometimes you just need a big rock and fried cauliflower…
One vegetable base soup, 3 different !
Start with a classic carrot, onion and celery, garlic and vegetable stock with water season and make it delicious on its own .
Soup 1- simple wonton…
- sauté ginger, more garlic and some mushrooms
- add 1 star anise, and some lemongrass
- chop up some bok choy and throw it in
- add 1/3 of the veg stock and vegetables, bring to a simmer
-add 1 tsp of fish sauce
- add some noodles and frozen wontons, simmer for 10-15 minutes
- finish with some cilantro
…. Follow for the next two soups!

Sometimes you need to be proud of what you do, and mindful of taking care of yourself. Yoga and a glass of wine… time to relax :)

Felt the urge to make some pizza tonight… next time, I will give the dough some time to ferment. Leftover vegetarian bolognese, provolone, habanero cheese curds, caramelized and raw red onions and a healthy handful of cilantro. So delish!

Made some from sheep’s milk yougurt, topped with a roasted red bell pepper spread, chia and flax on toast and a little evoo… perfectly hard boiled YUM

We have been trying out this week. It’s our first week and we haven’t been disappointed. You can follow the directions, all ingredients there, you can embellish too. These are jerk spice meatballs with a dirty rice and a lime crema. is my favorite, and dang, the one they put in the meal is legit. I added local heirloom tomatoes to the rice, and a side of sliced zucchini with .

“Greek” roasted potatoes… Next in the “empty the fridge” series… “Greek” potatoes. Romanesco, heirloom tomatoes, grilling cheese, Fresno chilies, tapenade and green onions and a squeeze of lemon… mmm!
