PRO TIPS: - Say or sing “over the mountain and under the sea, symmetry makes a weaving prettyyy”! You’re welcome 😂 - Measure every 1/2 inch to create your loom and weft strips - Wondering why I cut the first 1/2 inch all the way off? Creates an ODD number on the loom so there is an exact middle for ya & then the weft strips fit right, side to side - Once you reach the middle, mirror your design to the other end - Try different patterns and see what you can create! Always remember: let yourself breathe and try it out. It’s all about learning, problem solving, trying your best, and thinking outside the box, NOT being perfect. That’s the Ms. Dolinger way!

Let’s get 3D! See how to create a tree from a paper bag! You’ll never look at lunch the same way 😂 PRO TIPS: - Cut fringe on the side of the bag that opens or “is the entrance to the cave” - Using your fingers to measure is quick and easy, but if you want to incorporate some math, grab a ruler and measure every 1/2 inch - Use “little baby alligator bites” when cutting, not big chomps! - “Give your tree a hug” from the shorter sides of the bag to help start making the trunk - Pinch and twist branches tightly with 2-3 strands from trunk to end - Encourage your kids to add more details! Talk about the different seasons and what they might find below, in, and above the tree! Always remember: let your kiddos try it themselves and be creative.
