I am thrilled to announce a beautiful opportunity given to Coffee Curious Workshops to collaborate with the bright students, directors and faculty of the Mars Hill University Entrepreneurial Leadership Capstone Course, BA 403! 🎉

I’ve already had a fun coffee kick off Brew & Taste workshop with the amazing directors James Heinl & Sabrina Delk and Dr. Will Samson who is guiding the senior business school students in their Capstone Course.

Guess what?! Been in business a whole year! I just got my annual maintenance done by WNC’s most awesome coffee person/technician Randy from

BARISTA FRIEND MIRANDA; GUEST TRAINER WRAP UP ☕️💞

Weren’t we all lucky Miranda took the leap to start Barista Friend and become a pop up trainer and coffee consultant! She reached out to me when she was transitioning out of Greater Goods in Austin and we decided it was perfect timing to collaborate to show how could host and could create curriculum, run classes and do some consulting with me.

I knew Miranda was a special unicorn when I took her Specialty Coffee Association certification training course in Intermediate Brewing in June of 2022 in Austin at Greater Goods. Her knowledge, experience, teaching style and kind hearted approach is the perfect mixture you want in a teacher and trainer. She’s up with the trends, super curious and always honing her skills. Plus she just loves everything coffee and coffee people!

What a great week! Lots happened!

Miranda’s enthusiasm shone through all the classes and everyone who came really enjoyed their time learning with her. She hosted: INTRO TO COFFEE CUPPING - LATTE ART 101 - HOME BARISTA - PRIVATE CONSULTING - CO-HOSTED BLIND COFFEE FLIGHT TASTING. It was a truly amazing week and she elevated our offerings!

More to come for our home enthusiasts looking for coffee education and understanding specialty coffee! We are so thrilled and grateful Miranda came to show how much can really happen at Coffee Curious Workshops!
