Smash Events, Inc., a Catering, Floral Design, and Event Planning company based out of Asheville, North Carolina, is looking to fill several PART TIME positions (with opportunities for growth). A resume and/or strong cover letter, with pertinent job experience, along with references, are required to apply.

ALL candidates must possess the following:
-A solutions-oriented mindset
-Self-direction
-No drug or alcohol problems that will interfere with your ability to work
-Common sense
-Good personal hygiene
-The ability to keep drama out of the workplace
-Weekend availability
-Willingness to lift and carry various catering items, and be on your feet over a period of several hours
-The ability to work in many different types of climates
-Reliable transportation and the ability to drive to and from destinations inside and outside of Buncombe County
-A kind and helpful attitude toward guests, vendors, and other Smash staff

POSITIONS AVAILABLE
-Kitchen Assistant: prep work, onsite kitchen duties at events, plating, loading/unloading vehicles
Speed, good knife and time management skills a plus // 10-20+ hours per week - hours will increase as we head into our busy season

-FOH: set up, full service, breakdown, lifting, loading, bussing, assisting guests and fellow crew members, carrying trays and much more! Experience with event catering a plus // Those who shine will be kept well-employed.

-Bartender: bar setup, loading/unloading, service, breakdown
Craft cocktail + beer knowledge and professional experience in high volume settings a plus // 1-2+ Events Per Month

-Dishwasher: Loading/unloading catering vehicles before and after events, use of a commercial automatic dishwasher (some hand-washing required), restocking of clean catering items, general maintenance of commercial catering kitchen // 10+ hours per week with opportunities for growth
