Well, the hands are hamburger, and got a few symptoms of carpal tunnel, but this papenheimer plate is filed!!!!!

on a sad note, I should probably attempt to sell my Flamberge two hander. Itis not completely finished yet, (i will finish before I sell it) still needs its red fringe on the handle, and I have some more little bars to go on out near the end of the quillons... thinking of asking $1900....anyone interested???

I am also almost done a buckler 14" diamiter, hand hammered. was going to ask $200 anyone interested before I put it up on Etsy?? will be blued on the back.

another demo for steel class. this is a spangen helm, doing the rivets now, It is actually welded on the inside so the rivets are pure decoration (although I guess they actually are working like real rivets) This is my design for Uhtred's helm from the Last kingdom series book version. It will have the norse nasal and mask, and a wolf head on the top and I am thinking of doing scale instead of mail hanging from the helmet. I might cosplay this guy....kind of itching to finish this as I think I started it as a demo 10 years ago!!

Ok , folks, got some decent shots of my latest. demo for my steel class.... crabclaw dagger for the left hand, wallace collection. Blade 12 inches, overall 17 1/2 " 1 lb. I would love to keep this one, It is a beautiful visual balance.......alas.

another leafy one in the works. will have wood burnt handle, acorn pommel and matching drooping leaves. will do some engraving on the blade and a leaf for a ring, or I could leave the ring off if someone wants it that way.;;;
