Meetings: To Be Announced The founders chose the name from the Greek words to represent knowledge, duty, and power.
Kappa Delta Pi, International Honor Society in Education, founded by Dr. William Bagley in 1911 at the University of Illinois, was established to foster excellence in education and promote fellowship among those dedicated to teaching. Pioneering from its beginning by including women as well as men, Kappa Delta Pi grew from a local chapter to the international organization it is today, comprising 582 chapters and more than 45,000 members.
A beautiful initiation ceremony today! Thank you to all who contributed to making it a huge success! And congratulations to our new initiates, new executive board, and graduating seniors!

What an amazing turn out for our annual Thanksgiving potluck dinner! Thank you to our president, Sam Lenart, for hosting all of us this evening. Everyone knows that Kappa Delta Pi is full of excellent educators, but apparently some excellent cooks/bakers as well! We are thankful for the opportunity to teach, we are thankful for the friendships we've made with each other, and we are thankful for Kappa Delta Pi as an organization for giving us opportunities we wouldn't normally have.

Officer King from OUPD came to our chapter meeting last night. Our members have now received ALiCE training! Thank you, Officer King!!
Our first Slice Night social was a success!!! KDPi had a ton of fun eating pizza together and getting to know each other. Thanks to everyone who came!
