Meetings: To Be Announced The founders chose the name from the Greek words to represent knowledge, duty, and power.
Kappa Delta Pi, International Honor Society in Education, founded by Dr. William Bagley in 1911 at the University of Illinois, was established to foster excellence in education and promote fellowship among those dedicated to teaching. Pioneering from its beginning by including women as well as men, Kappa Delta Pi grew from a local chapter to the international organization it is today, comprising 582 chapters and more than 45,000 members.

We had a great turnout at the Involvement Fair and are very excited to see where this school year takes us!

What an amazing turn out for our annual Thanksgiving potluck dinner! Thank you to our president, Sam Lenart, for hosting all of us this evening. Everyone knows that Kappa Delta Pi is full of excellent educators, but apparently some excellent cooks/bakers as well! We are thankful for the opportunity to teach, we are thankful for the friendships we've made with each other, and we are thankful for Kappa Delta Pi as an organization for giving us opportunities we wouldn't normally have.

Our first Slice Night social was a success!!! KDPi had a ton of fun eating pizza together and getting to know each other. Thanks to everyone who came!
Our first chapter meeting of the 2015-2016 school year is TONIGHT at 8pm in Grover W123! We can't wait to see all of you there and share our new plans for the year!!
Wednesday August 26 at 8 pm & Monday August 31 at 8 pm are the dates and times for our information sessions in Grover W123.
