A series of oral history town hall events and fund-raising campaign to preserve the history of Morgan's Great Raid of 1863 through out Appalachia Ohio.
Raiders on the Ohio has four primary objectives: 1) to preserve, protect, and promote our national and state heritage. In this instance as it relates to Morgan's Raid, 2) to create tourism and economic development opportunities throughout Ohio's Appalachia region, 3) to create community engagement through the participation town hall events, and 4) to educate and create an increased awareness of this historic event and the hidden treasures that lie within Ohio's Appalachia region.
