Starting therapy can sometimes be scary! I want to take a minute to normalize the process and share what therapy is to me. A great visual representation of therapy for me is this picture. Verbally, it is a safe place to untangle all the stuff in your head and creates the space for a nonjudgmental, neutral person to assist you in becoming the best version of yourself. Dr. Wayne Dyer says it best in his quote "When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change".
