Kemp says we are doing so good; well, the numbers don't lie. We can do better, Georgia; we deserve better! The change starts with new leadership at all levels of the state.

Multiple times, I've said Roe v Wade being overturned has larger implications and is the start of what's coming from “conservatives.”
1. States will seek to ban travel for an abortion. Many states are already making abetting an abortion a crime. If authorities investigate and deem your “weekend camping trip” was more than that, guess who could be facing criminal charges?
2. Republican majority at the federal level could change the FDA and place new restrictions on medication abortion or take pills off the market.
3. Will states regulate in vitro fertilization?
4. Republican majority will codify a national abortion ban. – The complete opposite of Roe v Wade.
5. Defining a pregnancy as occurring at conception would essentially ban all abortions.
6. Investigations into all miscarriages that could lead to prosecution.
7. The disassembly of HIPPA protections as investigations and criminal trials proceed.
8. How many women will falsely claim r**e, file a police report, and access an elective procedure or the morning-after pill? How many men will face investigation and potential charges due to these allegations?
Whatever happens in the midterm, one thing is clear: Conflicts about abortion in post-Roe America are just beginning, and lives are at risk. The bottom line is that without access to abortion, women’s health and futures will be put at risk. Women experience ectopic pregnancies, cancer, miscarriage, financial hardship, and more. It’s the job of politicians to protect citizens, including women, and not put them in harm’s way as abortion bans do.

Contested down-ballot Democrats experienced ballot roll-off 79.41% of the time. Meanwhile, down-ballot Republicans in contested races saw a decrease in ballot roll-off to 37.25%.
The real-world consequence of our findings can be seen in the 2020 election results. Let’s take the Minnesota Senate. Joe Biden received more votes than Donald Trump, but Republicans still hold the state Senate majority. Ballot roll-off may have contributed to the results. Democrats should tackle state legislative ballot roll-off head-on.
Long term, it means investment in civic education, year-round community organizing, and narrative-building about why increasing progressive state and local political power will result in better outcomes for everyone.

Justices have gone on the record to state they will be insistent on upholding long-standing law and precedent, including Roe. Only to reverse course once confirmed and on the bench. We are staring down a path of criminalization for contraception, IVF, IUD, using menstruation apps, and the morning after pill. In a concurring opinion, Justice Thomas has taken it a step further and “correct the error,” calling for Griswald, Lawrence, and Obergefell to come before the court to be overturned. Birth control, Same-Sex marriages are being targeted next. Justice Thomas is signaling to ultra-conservatives to bring a case and let them overturn these precedents. Stare Decisis, who?
We have to vote to protect our rights - they are being taken away one by one! Elections have consequences!

The decision made by our extremist Supreme Court on this historic day is wrong and invalidates nearly 50 years of precedent and settled law. Roe had been upheld 12 previous times. But unfortunately, this ruling didn't just limit the right; they took it away. It's a sad day for our country.

It is an overreach by the government and disrespects a woman's right to choose how to take care of their own body. People will die -- physically, mentally, and emotionally-- and it'll affect generations to come in unthinkable ways. I will always stand by the freedoms our democracy intended for us to have, and I will support legislation at the state level to mitigate the effects of the upcoming GA Abortion ban supported by my opponent.

I am a Son of God, and my faith teaches that all people are created equal and that a woman's body and health will always come first. But unfortunately, today sets a dangerous direction for our country. We enjoy so many "rights" that are not in the Constitution, and our Supreme Court has made it clear that they can be taken away. Voters need to make their voices heard to protect this right at the local level. Personal Freedoms, equality, right to privacy, and personal liberty are all on the ballot in Nov. We are all Americans! We must come together to turn GA Blue!

Let us remember those who courageously gave their lives. Join us as we remember and honor our heroes. Honoring our nation's heroes on Memorial Day. Thank you to the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Have a safe Memorial Day!

We fought hard with bipartisan support to protect our community in East Cobb from the power grab of developers and higher taxes. Today our hard work paid off and the community that we love so much has spoken! Thank you to everyone who championed and supported East Cobb Alliance! Tonight we celebrate!

My heart goes out to the families today that are impacted by the tragic events in Uvalde, TX. I take my son and daughter to school almost every morning & tomorrow is going to be tough knowing that all those parents dropped their kids off and will never be bringing them back home. My heart is so heavy for those that are impacted by this senseless violence. Rest In Peace to the sweet babies involved in the Uvalde shooting! 🥺❤️

Tonight, I hugged my kids a little tighter.

To the families of Uvalde, our hearts break for you. I am praying for all of the families who have lost someone and for those injured.

No family should have to experience this, no community should have to endure this pain. We must take action.

As we've known from the start, the East Cobb Cityhood movement isn't feasible without taking money away from Public Safety and the World Class fire dept to fund other departments within the city. Underfunding our public safety isn't acceptable. Our taxes pay for the best, and we need to vote NO to keep it that way.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms! Biological, single, step, second, foster, expecting, fur, heavenly, yearning, grieving - motherhood comes in so many different forms and we celebrate all of you!!

I'm proud to be a member of the Rotary Club of East Cobb and to host the East Cobb Cityhood Debate tonight. Thank you to both sides for providing their platform this evening. I hope our fellow citizens come away from this debate more knowledgeable and better informed. Great job fellow Rotarians for hosting this successful event.

I'm still not convinced that this is what's best for our community. Taxes will increase when you add another layer of government. There are too many unknowns and I am still opposed of this cityhood movement. East Cobb Alliance continues to provide facts.
