I have posted about Pindo Palm fruit and the recipe to make jelly before. Well we went ahead and made some and saved you the work! Pindo palm jelly taste like pineapple and apricot. Available today with limited supply available.

Pigmy date palms are a beautiful patio palm around the pool or walkway. These palms with lush tropical foliage are great accents around the landscape used in decorative pots can make you feel like you’re on vacation! These need to be inside during the winter months so make sure you have a spot for it near a sunny window.

Large 15g sizes available with current height between 4-6ft. In their preferred tropical environment they can reach heights up to 8-10ft. Roots stay compact so they can stay in a pot, but will benefit from transplanting up to a larger size every 2 years and mixing in some new soil.

Only a few of these available and now is a good time to snag them during the cooler weather we are having.

Hibiscus add more than just beauty to your landscape. If you’re a tea drinker then the colorful and delicious tea is just the thing you need. This tea is also a natural remedy for anxiety and depression for those that deal with that regularly. You can make this tea with fresh or dried flowers.

3 cups Water
6 Fresh Hibiscus Flowers
2 tbsp Fresh lemon juice

Pick fresh hibiscus flowers.
Pull all the petals from the flowers.
Rinse well in water to remove any dust, bugs or impurities.

Boil the kettle and add boiling water over the fresh petals. Let it steep for 10 minutes. The petals will change from red to yellow.

Remove all the yellow petals. Don't steep the flowers for longer than 10 minutes or the tea will become quite bitter.

You can drink the tea hot or cold. If you want an ice-tea, then add the tea to a few ice cubes.

Add freshly squeezed lemon and see how the colour magically changes to a beautiful pink!

Drink and enjoy!
