We decided to give our OG recipe another go (without the ube bc we were feeling silly) and Y'ALL. Full stop - these were insane. Maybe we bring these bad boys back 👀

A little ube cookie appreciation! We haven't been making these for pop-ups recently ... should we bring them back?

The science behind baking still amazes me. Just a few ingredients mixed together make a liquid batter. But add a little steam and you get an acid-based reaction that creates these soft and pillowy (AND gluten free and vegan) steamed rice cakes.

Let's show some pandesal appreciation!I love making ube pandesal because as the bread bakes, the outside browns. But when you tear it open, you're met with this beautiful and vibrant purple!

Pandesal, one of many kinds of Filipino tinapay. From sliders to a quick dip in coffee, there’s so many ways to eat this one.
