Transitioning from a corporate job to a full-time entrepreneur can be challenging, and it's okay to have your moments where you want to cry and break down. However, I have to remind myself how far I've come. I've had the opportunity to work with some amazing companies to grow their brands. I must admit I have had a few sad days, weeks, months, hell even years, but I had to learn how to balance my emotions.

Often, we doubt ourselves because we may see others at the finish line glorifying their success, but the reality is that many of us rarely see their beginnings. Everyone has a story, and the daily reminder is that YOU too have a story, YOU too have a goal, YOU too have a dream. You will have not-so-good days, and you will have some incredibly successful days.

I know my goals and what steps I need to take to get there. However, spending too much time getting frustrated, being sad, and even having those extended Debbie Downer days won't accomplish anything. For days when I'm having a moment, I only grant myself a 15-minute pity party. I usually dance, meditate, or listen to something inspirational to help me get all of this sad mojo during this party. For many, this may seem extreme, but this has been the best method for me.
