I believe this is one of my superpowers that God blessed me with.

I understood pretty early in my adult life that if I allowed what other people said about me define me, I’d not get very far in life or business, so I decided early on to define myself!

I decided to focus on never comparing myself to someone else and to never pay attention to any destructive criticism or opinions that didn’t line up with God’s promises for my life.

It’s worked out pretty good for me and others that I know that follow the same philosophy.

Never allow someone else to influence your emotions to the point of making you look silly based off what they believe and say about you.

God has already put our manifestation on the inside of us. But just like the acorn seed, it will not develop into an oak tree unless it’s planted in good soil and allowed to develop over time.

Each one of us have seeds of greatness on the inside of us but unless we plant ourselves in the right environment, around the right people, listening and looking at the right things, and doing the right things, we will not be able to develop and manifest that greatness that God has put within us!

Ask yourself, “Where is my seed planted?”

If not in good soil, you should consider a relocation!

In what ever you’re doing, God designed you to be the BEST, it doesn’t mean better than everyone else necessarily but it means the BEST on your level!

What do you say about you?

I’m not talking about what you say to other people about you…. What do you say to yourself about you?

Even though most of us live our lives to be seen in the best light from others, we will never be truly successful or happy until we live our lives to be seen in the best light to ourselves.

If you can believe in someone else, you can believe in yourself!

If you can believe in God, you can believe in yourself!

Because God is in you! We’re made in his image!

Many people put more focus on their past than they do on their future and that’s why they continue to get the results they don’t want. Continuing to revisit the way it’s always been or continuing to revisit what happened is preventing what will be or what can happen.

Always remember, it’s impossible to drive a car looking in the rear view mirror.

If you got on any road, with the intentions of driving to a destination, but only focused on looking in the rear view mirror versus out of the front windshield, it is guaranteed that you would not get far. Not only would you not get far because you would crash your car, but you also stand the chance of causing a car accident with someone else. The unfortunate thing about these types of accidents is that it doesn’t just jeopardize your life, it jeopardizes the lives of others around you as well.

You hear about things like this all the time, drivers not paying attention or intoxicated driving down a one way and hitting another vehicle head on, most times killing the passengers in the other car and they were innocent people trying to get to their own destination.

How many of you reading this right now, are intoxicated with trauma or negative experiences from your past and you’re getting behind the wheel everyday also choosing to drive looking in the rear view mirror as opposed to the windshield and you’re killing innocent people that have nothing to do with your past. You may not be killing them physically, but in addition to your dreams and spirits, you are more than likely killing theirs too. Because you are not focused on what is in front of you, you are completely missing, not only the danger for yourself but the danger you are causing for others as well.

You see, the average windshield in a vehicle is around 1728 square inches and the average rear view mirror 18 square inches. That means that the windshield is 96 times larger than the rear view mirror. This ratio alone suggests that you should spend 96 times the amount of time looking forward than you do glancing back! What is in front of us is so much more important than what is behind us!
