I moved to ATL from NC with no job almost no money and no plan.
I found a roommate online and signed a lease without ever meeting her or seeing the apartment in person. To say that’s crazy would be an understatement!
Right before moving to Atlanta my roommate who’s like my brother got caught by the Feds (that’s another story). Thats what kicked off my desire to move and start a new life where no one knows me. I was afraid I would be next. I genuinely believe I would be dead or in prison had I stayed in my home town.
After signing my lease I needed to send my roommate my first months rent etc and it was like $800. Before I even had the chance to send her the money, my car was broken into while it sat in the dark parking lot of QVC distribution warehouse while I worked 3rd shift. They stole 3 guns, money and my house keys. I remember wondering why they would steal my house keys 🤔
Fortunately, my car keys was with me so I was able to drive home. Once I got home the mystery about them stealing my house keys was solved. THEY BROKE INTO MY HOUSE TOO!🤦🏾‍♂️😩
It’s someone I know‼️ they stole money, guns, etc. I was DEVASTATED and had NO CLUE how I was going to move to Atlanta now! It was almost like the guaranteed fait for me was either Death or recidivism. I just couldn’t shake it, but I KNEW I needed to leave. That place felt too small for me with the police telling my mom about my street life!
I tell my mom I’m not moving to ATL because all of my money was stolen. It was a casual conversation and I knew she didn’t have money so I didn’t think to ask her for any. I hate borrowing from my mom because my goal has always been to give to her not take from her.
She told me to hold on one sec as she walked out of the room. Once back in the room she handed me $1000 and the keys to her brand new car. She told me to go to Atlanta and make something of myself! She gave me her car because the AC didn’t work in mine and she kept my old hot car.
I came here with no job and had to figure it out! $800 of the $1000 was gone before I arrived so I could move in.

Day 1 of 2 at this event was SO AMAZING! Yall ever have a friend that told yall they are pregnant and you are so excited to finally meet the baby once it’s born? I legit feel that way about the podcast summit. I remember when mentioned this idea and I’m just so blown away at seeing it be born and changing lives.
The speakers, the information, the attendees everything was just top tier. I wish I could have connected with everyone because I know they are worth knowing if they attended this event!

Remove Inquiries

Removing inquiries is probably the easiest thing to do next to removing old addresses or phone numbers.

Calling In To Remove

First, call into the credit bureaus, get transferred over to the proper department (tell them you have fraud on your credit report) and once connected tell them there was fraud on your account aka the inquiries were unauthorized and you want them removed immediately.

Expect them to say NO!

Repeat, stick to the script, and don’t deviate.

This will work really easily for Experian, Transunion will probably say no a few times and then approve, and Equifax will keep saying no over and over again- so faxing into Equifax works better.

Here is an example of what you could say:
You noticed some unauthorized and unrecognized hard inquiries in your report and the company didn’t have your consent to obtain your credit reports. Those hard inquiries are negatively affecting your credit scores and may potentially affect your access to credit.

In some cases, depending on the bureau, they will be removed immediately. With others, you’ll have to try multiple times.



Dealing With Equifax

For some reason they just make it really hard to remove, calling in to remove rarely works so I suggest skipping that completely and going straight to faxing with them, which works really good.

This is the fax number that goes directly to the Equifax Fraud Department, this is a super high-value number!

Here is what you will send over…

1. Your FTC report
2. Your Drivers License
3. Your SS card
4. Cover letter
Example of what to put on a cover letter- “your file has been accessed without your permission and this is fraudulent. And you want the inquiry removed.”

Banks rely on Early Warning Services to provide information on customers. Sometimes that information is inaccurate.
How to Dispute Early Warning Services
An Early Warning Services dispute is necessary if you find inaccuracies in an Early Warning services consumer report. To do so, follow these steps:
* Review your report. You can get a free report every year from Early Warning. Request this online through the Early Warning Services website, by phone, or by mail. Review the report thoroughly and carefully. Review for opening and closing dates of accounts, account numbers, account addresses, account transactions, and all account activity. Check spellings and addresses.
* Identify inaccuracies. If you find errors or inaccuracies, mark them. These errors could include incorrect account details, fraudulent activities not committed by you, or paid debts still listed as outstanding. Errors can include double or duplicate accounts or mistakenly identifying you as deceased.
* Gather proof. Collect any documents that support your position. This evidence might include bank statements, letters from financial institutions, legal documents, screenshots of accounts, and emails.
* File your dispute. Send your dispute to Early Warning via certified mail. While you can do this online or by phone, doing so by mail preserves your right to sue later if Early Warning does not comply. Explain the inaccuracies and provide your supporting evidence. Reports lack inflection. If you failed a report, you might be able to explain it.
* Follow up. The FCRA requires Early Warning to investigate and alert you of their decision in 30 days. Follow up to check your dispute’s status and ensure it is being addressed.
You should contact Consumer Attorneys if you have been wronged or denied services by an error in an Early Warning services report. We will assess your case and determine how to remove early warning services or how best to file an Early Warning dispute.

I always ask why because I want to understand the persons perspective. I’ve been told many different things as to the origin of the saying good morning (mourning). None of it ever made any sense. So, I looked it up. The origin of both words are old English and the original word for both Morning and Mourning aren’t even the same word, they’re different.

Business credit is not regulated like personal credit. This can be both good and bad.
If we had the FCRA for business credit it would be easier to correct inaccurate issues on business credit reports like we can on personal credit reports.
It’s a term we use called . That term describes the credibility of your business when lenders look at your business’ foundational pillars.
You could have issues with your lexis nexus and never even know it because you’ve never looked at it.
On average the lexis nexus report is about 300 pages for each person. Although it’s not a business credit report or a personal credit report, your lexis nexus directly impacts both your business and personal credit borrowing ability.
The big 3 in credit reporting agencies are listed below. However, on the business side the Small Business Financial(SBFE) is a third party data avg that houses the data they receive from lenders to feed data to your business credit profile.

1. Dun & Bradstreet (D&B): Established in 1841, D&B is one of the oldest business credit reporting agencies. It pioneered the use of credit reporting for businesses.

2. Experian Business: Experian is not only known for consumer credit reporting but also provides comprehensive business credit information and risk management solutions.

3. Equifax Business: Equifax is a global data, analytics, and technology company. Its business credit reporting division offers insights into the creditworthiness of companies.

Good morning. Today is the first day of the rest of your life.

My brother Brandon Abrahams is my gym workout and accountability partner. We agreed to go every Monday and Wednesday.

We’ve done pretty good with that. If one of us don’t go, we have to pay the other person $50. If one of us is late, we have to pay the other person $25.
This has pushed me to go SEVERL DAYS when I wouldn’t have gone on my own.

Accountability partners are essential for all success, especially when you are first starting out.

This is a public declaration to let y’all know I’m working out 5 days per week starting today.

I’m also going to eat sweets 2 times a week (this is not easy for me). I’ll post in my stories when I go to the gym and I’ll post whatever I consume for that day.

In honor of Black History Month, today we pay tribute to Angela Earl, the first Quality Assurance (QA) /Training Coordinator for the 911 Communications Center for the Rocky Mount Police Department (RMPD).

Earl, a native of Rocky Mount, graduated from Rocky Mount High School and attended Edgecombe College where she obtained her Nurses Assistance Certification. Earl interned at RMPD, where she realized her passion for public safety. She then became a Public Safety Telecommunicator and was later promoted to Shift Supervisor after three years. Earl also attended NC Wesleyan College and is now a teacher at Nash Community College, where she teaches the NC Sheriff’s Standards Telecommunicators Certifications classes.

Currently, as the QA/Training Coordinator for the 911 Communications Center, Earl is responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, and directing all training programs for E-911 Communications employees, including the dispatcher training program and Agency In-Service training.

Earl says one of her favorite quotes is, "My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style." - Maya Angelou

Earl says this quote inspires her to live a life full of passion, compassion, humor, and style. She says it encourages us to make positive changes and a difference in the world, find joy in our journey, and celebrate our unique qualities.
