From Sep 24 through Sep 26th, 7pm to 2am,, The South Asian Engagement Foundation is celebrating 75 years of Indian independence and the story of the Indian American community at One World Trade Center. Comprising three compelling animation themes, the imagery depicts the rich heritage and cultural roots of the Indian American community. At the same time, it highlights how all things Indian are fast becoming an integral part of American life. The multiple themes is showcasing the rich and cultural heritage of India’s Ayurveda & Spirituality and how these aspects of this ancient sciences have become mainstream staples in daily American life. Another theme focuses on the Indian American’s community strong educational background that led them to be accomplished Doctors, Scientists, Technocrats, Entrepreneurs and Spelling Bee champs. The digital animation also includes an animated Indian Flag. The imagery will be live at sunset every day and run non-stop until 2am.
