I just want to share a little information about our new business venture. The name of our business is Discount Direct Griffin LLC, which is a retail mattress furniture store that will be in Griffin, Georgia. We sell quality brand mattresses and pillow tops for very affordable prices that is convenient for the consumers. We are not an expensive retail store, we do not keep business hours where we must pay salespeople to sit and wait for customers all day, we do not have fancy showrooms, we do not use expensive advertising methods, etc. Our business is all about working smart, not hard!

We are a low overhead, no frills operation, selling brand new, top brand mattresses and pillow tops directly from the manufacturers at our low-overhead (usually warehouse) showrooms through appointments set over the phone and online. We are a new start up business and plan to open in January 2021. I would say the only challenge that we currently face now is working capital for inventory to purchase mattresses, marketing, inexpensive advertising, and lease payments for retail space. We recently applied for business line of credit with our bank Wells Fargo and unfortunately was denied. But the good news is that now we know what areas of our credit we need to work on, we will be approved.

Also, a big shout out to and Rod Squad a Youtuber advertising grant opportunity for small business owners such as myself, to apply for a grant of $10,000. This grant will help us overcome the challenge were facing now to have funding that will be used for purchasing mattresses, marketing, advertising, rental payments, and working capital until the business start increasing in revenue. I feel that Discount Direct Griffin need to be in business to help customers sleep better with comfortable mattresses that are not too costly and expensive. Discount Direct Griffin's motto is "Comfortability and top quality is our quest for every customer to experience the best rest."
