I finally framed her 😭 I added her bandana to the frame as well since I had some extra wiggle room.
I found the frame from Goodwill for literally $3!

Hello everyone- Caroline here. Not sure if any of you are gardeners like I am. But one of my original plans for a memorial for Lily is a couple of lemon trees.
This is because the last vet we took her to, had gorgeous lemon trees outside it. She and I got to sit and stare at them while waiting for a doctor to look at her. We were out of town, it was a new vet, and she, Kenny, and I were terrified. It ended up being a wonderful doctor, who cared very much about keeping Lily comfortable.
I took a couple of the lemons (pictured here) and ended up deciding to try to get some of the seeds to sprout. The first four tries failed.
I planted the last of the seeds with a prayer. After many months, nothing had sprouted and I was genuinely upset. About to give up, and throw the whole thing away. Until this morning when I woke up- I noticed some small bits of green.

We don’t have a house yet- or property to plant them on. So I am going to raise the trees in pots, until I can create a little orchard of citrus trees for Lily to be under.

Lily knew I loved my plants. And she was honestly the only animal I have ever lived with that respected them 🤣 She would used to lay in my office, next to my plants and people watch out the sun room.

Does anyone else have lemon trees? Give me your best tips below 🥲❤️ this is my first time growing something from a seed. I’m nervous!😬

We got a wonderful Christmas present this year from ❤️‍🩹🎄 After I posted this article to our story, he reached out and offered to put her photo on the tree. I kid you not, within the hour, he had found the secret tree’s location, and a day later, he hung not one, not two, but three photos for us of Lily with a little message.

Happy Holidays, Happy Holy Days, and Merry Christmas to everyone from our little family, and from the rainbow bridge. 🌈 While this time of year may look different for everyone, I hope that yall will have to sit, smile at your family, and enjoy all the blessings you have been given.

Wether you are grieving, taking care of a senior pet, celebrating with family, spending it alone, or anything else:
I wish nothing but the best for all of you.

We want to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for yall being here. Never in my wildest dreams would I ever imagined to have support from this many people; but here you are, helping me every step of the way. And some of you have been here from the beginning! (I know who you are, and love you) from when Lily needed just the back wheels, to having to pivot. Yall helped us so much.
Next year, we have so much to do and accomplish.
We want to obviously continue to help special needs animals across the globe- so please stay tuned.
To the amazing people who Lily inspired:
Like, Evan, who decided to start making his own 3D printed prosthetics for pets, Stef, who continues to show me that literally anything is possible when you are an incredible woman (🤪), and the endless first time wheelie pup parents, who decided to make the big leap to wheels..
You are all so incredible, I don’t have the words to describe how I feel. (There are so many names I can think of, but you know who you are 🥹)
It is amazing to see my dog literally change the lives of so many, and still to this day I am hearing stories of how she impacted your lives.
It warms my heart immeasurably.
To the people struggling with a senior, sickly, or special needs pet:
You are not alone. What you are doing is thankless, tireless, and worth it. The time and effort you are taking means more than the world to your baby. I don’t have to tell you that, because their eyes say it all to you.
And remember, please don’t hesitate to reach out with messages.
If I have not responded, message again please because sometimes they get hidden in my “hidden requests” 💖

Went for a walk in a park today that we used to take Lily to, because it is so beautiful outside. Lo and behold, we found some of Lily’s tracks embedded in the sand 😭

Caroline knew who she was from a very early age..
a disabled pup lover 🥹 This here, was my first pet sitting gig literally EVER. Isn’t that so funny to think about?
God literally paved the way for me to give Lily the best life possible.. starting with a foundation of knowledge and judgment free mindset from when I was a child.
I remember going over to the neighbor’s house as a child with my mother, and having to help Indie into his chair and harness.
Does anybody spot the old harness?

She is coming home.
We chose an urn with a photo- and the artist was able to get her wheels in the photo.

My mom picked her up from Greener Pastures for us, and my father is driving her home because we could not bare to go back to the house she passed in so soon.

The way my wail just echoed through our condo.
I knew cared about Lily but I didn’t know this much.

Today, I went to Publix to pick up a pub sub. (For those of you who don’t know what that is: I went to the grocery store to get a sandwich)
The very sweet lady working behind the counter had noticed, I looked liked I have cried. She decided to kindly ask if I was okay when I proceeded to tell her about Lily passing. She then proceeded to ell me a whole story about how she was paralyzed for some time and how it affected her life. she asked me questions about Lily, and the next thing I know, the whole department was in tears.

She made sure to give me a huge hug and said “Lord I hope ain’t nobody try her today” 🤣💖

The evolution of Lily’s collars.
Right now, they are hung by thumb tacks because I am thinking about putting them all in a shadow box.
I wanted to post this to ask for suggestions because I simply cannot give her collars to another.
The first collar, with the bones was the collar Kenny brought her to meet me in. Then she changed to the bright pink one the day we put my phone number on her tag ❤️
Then her first ever velvet collar from Karen.
Then the collar that ChickFilA sent her ❤️
So many memories 💖

We are pet sitting Lily’s besties for the night.
It’s nice to get out of the house, and to have some fur babies on top of us. Quite literally 🤪💖
We brought them some left over stuff from Lily like:
Goats’ milk powder for Lizzy. She has gut issues and allergies.

Turmeric supplement for Kreature. It will help with his mobility, and his bad leg.

And some toys we are not emotionally attached to.

The last present for Lily. From
I was going to put the naughty bandana on her and make some sort of joke about how she’s never naughty. They sent us an adorable blanket too.
This hot chocolate will warm me up on the days for work when I have to get up before the crack of dawn and look at the empty spot in our bedroom where Lily would normally be laying.
Grounds and Hounds is a great company. Proceeds from your purchases are going to be going to rescue pups in need.

That being said we have a lot of things to w**d through that belonged to Lily. We want to give some to our followers who need them. Just please give us time to process everything. We can’t even look at her things without crying at the moment. So it’s all shoved into the corner of our condo.

Lily had quite the adventure around Hopelands Gardens with her cousin Chaps yesterday. 🥰 They have a little library where you can take books to read. And we found Lily’s big day!! How fitting. 💖 we took it to read to her and will return it next time we go!

Today is National Make a Dog’s day. 💖🐶 I know I haven’t posted much today, but you already know this means I devoted the day to Miss Lily bean. This includes a long walk, getting to watch a polo match 🐎, and even meeting new friends 🥹🙏we were blessed with some of the best weather. 🌞
We sincerely hope your puppers had a great day today.

This photoshoot was a really comfortable, and fun experience for our little family 🥰 We shot it at Woody’s barn, around our incredible barn fam 🥹 They are so kind, and beyond great with Woody.
Not only that, these photos were taken by one of Mama’s best friends.
Lily was so sweet and patient with us, and even got to ride in the golf cart.

BUT.
The real star of the show, was the ever so patient Woody. 👏 He is very serious about his schedules, and Mama might have made his dinner time late. But he still stood like a true champ. 🥰
I mean, look at him posing!

Lately, Kreature hasn’t been running to the other side of the yard to scream bark with the other dogs like normal. (I say normal because we have been pet sitting them for years now)
I thought okay. That’s weird. I wonder if he’s hurt?
He is totally fine, he just stands next to Lily when he barks now 🥹
Turns out, he just wants miss Lily to be included. How sweet! And he isn’t even her sibling. Just besties. 💖

I’m sitting here debating if I wanna post this video of all of us playing. Why you ask? 🤣 oh it’s because I am jumping and screaming and playing like a fully grown lunatic 🤣
This video is adorable just because:
Tippah was screaming at us to chase her,
Kreature was running around like a lunatic,
And Lizzy was pouncing on everyone, and even got Lily a little involved by sniffing her until Lily told her in the kindest way possible to go away 👹 (she will show her teeth if she gets irritated)
Later after everyone is done playing, Kenny asks me, “Dang babe. Why are you so red right now?” 🤣🤣🤣
Um.. no I wasn’t running around the house with our dog…..
