For those of you who like to drive Deal's Gap, here's an opportunity to give back to those who respond to accidents.
Thanks to Josh Hankins for putting this together!
I'm going to take a step away from the countdown to talk about something serious.
The first responders for most incidents on Deal's Gap is the Blount County Rescue Squad. They are a volunteer organization that assists rescue efforts in Blount County. This extends to the NC state line on US129. They train over 30,000 man-hours a year just in case one of us screws up and gets in trouble.
This year's MATG Raffle will benefit the Blount County Rescue Squad. If you have a prize you'd like to donate to the raffle or would like to donate some money to them, please don't hesitate to contact me. I can do Paypal donations or you can send me prizes or certificates.
Let's do all we can to show some appreciation for the men and women that spend countless hours to train, vigilantly watch over, and rescue us if we get in trouble.

Great news! Sounds like a few new vendors at the Gap this year. If you don't have your room reserved, better hop to it!
Looks like we're going to have 3 engine swap vendors at MATG this year. I just received confirmation that all 3 will be there this year!
Should give everyone more than a few options when it comes to alternate powertrains for their Miatas.

Big changes for our monthly Caffeine and Octane show! Starting this Sunday, the new show has a new home in the Perimeter Mall parking lot at the corner of Ashford Dunwoody and Perimeter Center West. Gates open at 6AM and let's hope for no rain! We'll use this month as a test run and then plan to have a pre-show breakfast meetup for March's show. Hope to see you there!
