3D Implant Planning
What is "3D Guided Implant Placement"? This is a video us planning a case in our office. A 3D image is taken of the patient and the implant(s) are placed virtually in the software (with the advantage of nerve tracings and other important features). Once we are satsified that our plan is perfect, we upload this data to create a 3D-printed surgical guide to transfer the implant's perfect location to the mouth at the time of placement. Not only does this result in predictable implant placement, but in most cases, avoids the need for a large incision, making the procedure more comfortable for our patients! This has been a complete game changer in dentistry!
