In 2023, Team Penske celebrated their monumental 19th win at the Indianapolis 500, with Josef Newgarden clinching his first victory in his 12th attempt. His patience and skill shone through as he made the decisive pass in the final laps, securing a historic win for both himself and Team Penske. This victory also marked a significant milestone for Roger Penske, being the first win as the owner of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
