We’re proud that Interim Co-Presidents, Marilyn Carpinteyro and Jordan Davis will guide Common Cause during the national search for a permanent leader.
We are incredibly saddened at the loss of Common Cause's fearless leader, Karen Hobert Flynn.
Karen was a steadfast advocate for defending our voting rights here in Georgia and across this country.
Today, democracy lost one of its fiercest defenders: Karen Hobert Flynn.
A trailblazer and powerful advocate, Karen dedicated her career to reforming our government so it served everyone. May her memory give us strength as together we carry forward her legacy of fighting for a government that lives up to the ideals of its people.

Common Cause Georgia's own Anne Gray Herring breaks down what we are expecting to happen in Georgia's legislature this year.
President Biden marks the 2 year anniversary of the January 6 attack on our country by awarding 12 American heroes with the Presidential Citizens Medal.
“On this day two years ago our democracy held because We The People did not flinch. We The People endured. We The People prevailed.”
Among those honored were Georgia's own Ruby Freeman and her daughter Shaye Moss, two election workers who faced harassment and even death threats for their work ensuring every vote was counted during the 2020 election.
We are so proud to see our fellow Georgians recognized for their bravery!
