Marietta PAL is offering Summer Camp for youth in rising 1st through 12th grades.

PAL’s 2024 Summer Camp will be provided
June 3 - July 12, 2024, Monday through Friday from 8am-6pm.

Summer programming will include
👉 Health & Fitness,
👉 Athletics,
👉 Reading,
👉 Math,
👉 STEAM,
👉 Art,
👉 Life Skills
👉 and more!

🍎 Breakfast, Lunch & Snacks are included as well.

PAL Summer Camp will be held at:

Freedom Youth Yoga is hosting classes at a large Girl Scouts event this weekend, and just discovered that we need 25 more yoga mats for the group. Can you donate a gently used or new mat? Could you donate $25 for a new mat?

I am delighted to be able to announce that I have received my first grant ever! I, along with four other lucky recipients will be enrolled in a six-month-long course to receive credentials as a Certified Nonprofit Practitioner. Once the program is complete, Freedom Youth Yoga will receive a $10,000 grant! We are so grateful for this amazing opportunity through the Cobb Community Foundation.

We love working with Marietta Police Athletic League - PAL Please consider donating socks or toiletries for their service project.

Join Marietta Police Athletic League - PAL this month as they are collecting socks and toiletries for their PAL kid participants to bag and deliver to MUST Ministries. Donations will be accepted no until December 4th and can be dropped off at the Hugh Grogan Rec Center located at 510 Lawrence St from 1-7pm daily.

We are partnering with Miss Gabi's Music and Art and Jitterbug Performing Arts on The Hundred Acre Wood Fall Festival and Trick or Treat on October 14 from 2-6pm with Trick or Treat from 4-6pm!

Winnie the Pooh Showings will be at 3:30 and 6 pm

We are looking for local businesses, nonprofits, schools and neighbors who want to come to have their own Trick or Treat station and dress up! Help us provide another year of our Free Trick or Treat through volunteering!

New Chapters

After teaching high school English for many years, then caring for my babies at home, I began searching for a new way to make a difference in my Smyrna, Georgia community. Yoga can provide the tools that young people need to have more confidence in control of their bodies and minds. Being able to calm themselves, to make thoughtful choices, and to stay focused on what is most important to them are vital skills. Exercising to build stamina and strength, and to work off that excess youthful energy will help them grow into healthier adults.

The goal of Freedom Youth Yoga, Inc is to be able to provide yoga instruction to youth who would usually not have the opportunity, starting with the Smyrna community. We are currently offering preschool yoga classes at the Smyrna Community Center and After School Program instruction at a local elementary school. We love any ideas you may have for growing the offerings of this venture.
