Congratulations to Madison Murray ~ Sportsmanship Award winner at the PHJA Red, White & Blue Show! Well done! And well done to all the Honorees....we love that this list is so long. It says a lot. A special thank you to the trainers, parents and support teams for fostering sportsmanship in every aspect for these riders. It's a lifetime gift that will supercede their accomplishments in the show ring.

At PHJA we value sportsmanship, kindness and respect. We greatly appreciate the professionals and parents that model this for our competitors. It definitely is an attribute worthy of recognition. We say this often and with great sincerity ~ you lift us all. Thank you!!

People often ask how riders are nominated: at every PHJA show nomination forms for Best Turned Out and Sportsmanship Awards are distributed daily to the gate keepers and judges. They jot down back numbers of riders or names of trainers they feel should be recognized in each category. At the end of the weekend we tally the nominations. It's a big deal to be nominated - we appreciate you!

Our hearts and prayers go out to the Robinson-Wright families with news of PHJA's co-founder Mrs. Betty Robinson's passing. Greatly loved, she will be deeply missed.

The family has announced that there will be a graveside service on Thursday, May 30th at 11:00 am at Bayview Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Mrs. Robinson's name to Tiny Acres NWFL, Inc. or Panhandle Equine Rescue, Inc.

Congratulations to our $250 Jump Seat Medal competitors ~ The Blue Ribbon going to Kippen McWhirter with Royally Fierce Equestrian. Well done all! This is always a fun class to compete in and to watch and is part of our Friday Fun classes.

PHJA offers this Friday Fun class in two sections (which will be combined if entries merit) at four fence heights. The Low Medal (2' or 2'3") and the High Medal (2'6" or 3'). This is an equitation class with an over fences phase and a flat phase. Riders compete over a timed jumper style course of 10-12 fences.
Show attire required.

Each section offers $250 in prize money, first place award, ribbons through 8th place.

The First Annual $1,000 Pro - Am Charity Challenge was a great success! Thank you, thank you, thank you! To all the participants, the Sponsors, and supporters!! Together we were able to raise $800 for Tiny Acres Northwest Florida Animal Rescue!
