A2L Regulatory Update
Effective January 1, 2025, the EPA has set a 700 GWP limit for commercial and residential heating & cooling units—and we're ready. R-410A is being phased out to be replaced with a lower-GWP class of refrigerants, known as A2L. Throughout 2024, we will be releasing commercial and residential heating & cooling equipment that use R-454B refrigerant, assuring compliance for 2025 and beyond.
