NeuroTrials Research
NeuroTrials Research has conducted more than 225 clinical trials on over 3,000 volunteers throughout the Atlanta metro area.
Founded in 1997, NeuroTrials Research began as a study site in north Atlanta. In the years since our founding, NeuroTrials has grown to include investigational drug and device research with a focus in the central nervous system. Our spacious, state-of-the-art facility is conveniently located near three of North Atlanta’s major hospital systems and is in walking distance of rapid transit (MARTA). T
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our esteemed Chief Science Officer and CEO, Russell Paul Rosenberg, Ph.D., who peacefully departed on November 10th, 2023 surrounded by his beloved family. Dr. Rosenberg was a devoted friend, boss, husband, father, and grandfather, leaving an indelible mark on both the field of sleep medicine and our NeuroTrials Research family.
With over 30 years of experience as a principal investigator and sub-investigator, Dr. Rosenberg's contributions to sleep disorders, psychiatric disorders, and medical devices have been internationally recognized. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he was an award-winning hobby photographer and a man whose passion for family and life resonated with everyone he encountered.
In honoring Dr. Rosenberg's legacy, we announce the appointment of his colleague, friend, and NTR medical director, Dr. Michael Lacey, M.D., as our new CEO.
Dr. Lacey brings more than 30 years of extensive experience as a principal investigator and sub-investigator, with a focus on neurological disorders and sleep disorders. His impressive background includes a medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School, residency in Neurology at Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine, and a fellowship in Epilepsy and Neuromuscular Disease at Emory University.
We are confident that his leadership will build upon the strong foundation laid by Dr. Rosenberg.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Rosenberg family during this difficult time and express our gratitude for Dr. Rosenberg's unparalleled contributions to clinical research, the NeuroTrials family, and the world at large.
We look forward to supporting Dr. Lacey as he guides us through the next chapter of our journey.

Is it hard for you to get to bed at a decent time every night? Then once you fall asleep, it’s hard to wake up on time.
Neurotrials Research is conducting a new research study on the efficacy and safety of a daily single oral dose of an investigational drug for adults having difficulty getting to bed on time.
To prequalify, participants must be between the ages of 18 to 65, have difficulty getting to bed at a normal bedtime, have no other sleep disorders such as insomnia, narcolepsy, or sleep apnea, and be in general good health. Reimbursement for time and travel may be provided for those who qualify and participate.
Participate in research; find out how you can help. Get started today. Call 404-851-9934 now or go to www.neurotrials.com.
Diagnosed with Restless Leg Syndrome?
Did you know that research shows that ripened bananas are found to contain magnesium, potassium, and a natural form of dopamine? These substances work together and may be a significant help in relieving your restless leg syndrome (RLS) symptoms. Studies show that magnesium and potassium operate by decreasing inflammation in your veins and arteries and increasing overall relaxation. In addition, bananas are a superb source of potassium, which plays a significant role in sending nerve impulses and helping your muscles to move.
If you are diagnosed with restless leg syndrome, we are currently looking for volunteers for a research study assessing an investigational device for the treatment of individuals with moderate to severe RLS. If you are 22 to 79 years of age, have a diagnosis of RLS, have an incomplete response to current treatment for RLS, show symptoms two or more nights per week, experience symptoms that begin 2 hours before and or during bedtime, and are otherwise in general good health.
To learn more about this study and to see if you qualify, visit www.neurotrials.com or call 404-851-9934.
As Migraine Awareness Week comes to a close, Neurotrials would like to make sure we bring awareness to migraines.
Migraines are an extraordinarily prevalent neurological disease, affecting 39 million men, women, and children in the U.S. and 1 billion worldwide. Everyone either knows someone who suffers from migraines or struggles with migraines themselves. Migraines are the 3rd most prevalent illness in the world.

Hi everyone, I'm Dr. Russell Rosenberg, Chief Science Officer at Neurotrials Research, www.neurotrials.com. Did you know Sodium Oxybate has been a terrific treatment option for many narcoleptics? The traditional treatment regime involves two doses, one at bedtime and the other a few hours later.
We are currently conducting a trial with a new formulation that requires only a ONCE a night dosing. Everyone who enrolls will get the actual medication, no placebo. If this study is of interest or if you want to learn more about other narcolepsy studies we are enrolling for, call 404.851.9934.
