Vertical Earth HR Visits Florida
Last week, members of the Vertical Earth Human Resources team traveled to our Florida division to connect with field crews and get a firsthand look at current projects.
The HR staff met with superintendents, foremen, and crews across several active jobsites in the region.
In addition to job walkthroughs, the HR representatives held open forums where Tampa crews could ask questions, provide feedback, and discuss workplace policies and benefit programs. These face-to-face interactions allow HR to gather valuable insights directly from employees.
The visit reinforced Vertical Earth's commitment to supporting our most valuable asset - our skilled workforce. By experiencing operations up close, HR can ensure employee needs and concerns are addressed effectively.
The Tampa trip was a great success in strengthening the connection between the corporate Human Resources team and our frontline construction personnel delivering quality work across the region.

Vertical Earth is proud to support our veterans. Last Friday, in honor of Veteranβs Day we distributed hats to all our construction professionals. As a company, wearing these hats is our small way of saying thank you to all those who have served.
Speaking of serving, we would like to highlight one of our construction professionals who will soon be deploying with his Army National Guard Unit.
In April 2023 Caleb joined Vertical Earth and from the start he has strived to learn about the construction industry. He started in traffic control and is currently working as an operator; he enjoys being out in the field and feels like Vertical Earth has become his second family. "I have enjoyed having a career outside of the military, good connections and opportunities. My goal is to be a superintendent, but I know that it comes with time, so for now my goal is to become a foreman. Vertical Earth has provided on-the-job training, certifications, opportunities to go to different job sites and I have learned how to read plans. I took the initiative to do that because I want to grow within the company. I know what I want to do."
Our thoughts and prayers are with Caleb as he prepares to deploy.
No man is left behind, and no citizen is left ungrateful. Thank you for your service.
