For some extra fun for DSP week staff had to go outside and find something to make PFP with! They turned out so cool!
We are having a blast celebrating our DSPs so far this week with more fun to come! Dress up days, BBQ, fun challenges, awards and more! Here are some pictures from โsilly sock dayโ and โdress your decade dayโ
Please help us congratulate Kelly on her well deserved award! ๐
Kelly Wagoner has been a DSP for over 15 years and currently serves as a Lead DSP at Partnership for Progress.
Kelly has compassion and drive to assist every member she works with to not only maintain their stability, but also encouraging them to strive for all of their lifelong goals. She has assisted members in many ways including learning how to grocery shop to administering their own medications, to even moving into their own home with their fiancรฉ or purchasing their first vehicle.
In January, Partnership for Progress unexpectedly lost a long-term employee who also happened to be Kellyโs best friend. Even in her grieving, she assisted in scheduling grief counseling for members and ensured no member had a lapse in service with the loss of an employee. It was truly remarkable.
On average, Kelly sees 22 different members every two weeks to ensure our members daily living skills, their medical and medical mental health needs, and services being provided by all other staff, are all being met to very high standards. Kelly took on the position of being our lead DSP of the hourly service program in November and volunteered to be the first DSP contact on our emergency contact line when members need assistance outside of office or staff hours.
Kelly keeps members in the know and supports and encourages them to become a part of their communities, not just live in it.
Please join IACP in congratulating Kelly on her IACP DSP Award 2022!
Updated and opening available as of 8/18/22.
Partnership for Progress has a day shift part-time employment opportunity for a Direct Support Position. This opening includes working one shift 6am-2pm every other Saturday with the opportunity to work more hours as needed.
