You gotta love the War Eagle Girls and Plainsmen. Those outfits... so distinct, so classy. You'd have no idea that the ladies had "Beat Bama" underpants... Yes, before the actual race part of the 1976 Beat Bama Bed Race fundraiser, the War Eagle Girls strutted their stuff in thematically consistent nighttime attire before a captive audience at the Graves Amphitheater. And at least one bold bunny took things up a notch with messaging on her unmentionables. Sheesh, more like booty pageant! Times, they were different. Beat Bama.
