Growing up, I’d wake up at 4 am every Fourth of July to head to Atlanta to run the Peachtree Road Race. Now, it’s a 3 am wake up call to start the smoker for Augusta, Georgia’s best BBQ! Nothing beats the flavor of all wood-fired BBQ!

A few shots from our two events on Tuesday! We were booked for two separate catering events for 225 people! On the menu: pulled pork, pulled chicken, prime grade brisket, 5 sides and dessert! Thank you Augusta for continuing to recommend us…we are booked for several events this fall, winter and even next fall! Our BBQ is special because we do it the right way: no electricity, no gas, no pellets, no charcoal. Only real wood-fired smoked BBQ!

Yesterday’s Sunday brunch was this Shakshuka using tomatoes and peppers from my garden and farm-fresh eggs...cooked in the NanoBond pan using the leftover heat in my wood-fired oven.
Two of the eight pizzas I knocked out last night in the . It doesn’t get any better or fresher than this. Scratch-made 00 pizza dough, San marzano tomato sauce straight from the garden, fresh mozzarella and basil and a nice swirl of premium California olive oil.
Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there. We celebrated today with a BBQ feast: pulled pork, fried okra, brown butter creamed corn and Brunswick stew...topped off with a homemade South Carolina peach cobbler and a freezer full of my homemade vanilla ice cream.
We are following up yesterday’s event with another sold out BBQ today: 24 butts are coming off the smoker!
A few shots from our event today when we fed over 300 on duty police men and women! Thank you for the support and shares. Unfortunately, we received an immense amount of hateful comments and messages last night. It’s unfortunate we live in a world where people demonize feeding the men and women who put their lives on the line for us every day. Check out just a few of the messages we received...there were well over 50 hateful comments, messages and emails.

Tomorrow, Friday June 19th, Campbell's BBQ Co. will be cooking BBQ and providing it free of charge to every on duty police officer and deputy in the CSRA. During these tumultuous times, we want to show our support and appreciation for the brave men and women who put their lives on the line to protect us every day. One of my favorite quarantine meals was this amazing platter: Thit Heo Nuong Xa...grilled Vietnamese lemongrass pork chops cooked on the and served with pickled carrots and diakon, jasmine rice, garden-fresh cucumbers and homemade eggrolls.
I’ve sold thousands of lbs of BBQ during the pandemic without even a bite for myself. During my last cook I made a point to hold one pork butt back for pulled pork sandwiches, squash casserole and jalapeño poppers, pineapple pit-smoked baked beans and Brunswick stew.
