Yellow Bird Books is celebrating our first year on October 19! Family friendly events until 5, an evening at the bookstore for grownups from 6-8pm. After party at French 75!

You are invited to for a Book Nook Workshop. I will be showing you how to make your own little forest for your bookshelf. Learn how to create a small door for your fairies, gnomes or other enchanted beings as well as paper flowers for their home. Limited spots available. Stop by the book store to take a look at one in person and reserve your spot for the 12to2pm or 3to5pm slots available.

Cailín is excited to celebrate National Voter Registration Day on Tueday, September 17 at 6 p.m. at the Santori Library! This family friendly event is all about civic engagement, voter registration, and will feature a green screen photo-op at the White House, new voter equipment demonstration courtesy of Kane County Clerk’s Office, a prize drawing, snacks, activities, and more!
