Indie demonstrator for Stampin' Up! With ink + paper, potential is inkfinite. Everyone can make art!
This morning, I went to check out some of the new stuff. I saw the "Ice Cream Swirl" set, with this die for the ice cream cones.
And then I saw something different inside it:
If you take half of the ice cream cone cutout, and chop that in parts, you can get a nail polish bottle.
No world-breaking thoughts here, just having fun seeing one thing and then seeing another possibility come from it.
Morning win: getting time entries to line up nicely.
When you create a decimal tab, Word treats a : as a decimal.
This will eventually get me to an image I can add to a page in Acrobat. Anyone got a favorite PDF editor that won't break the bank?
Today I was very thankful to have a set of silicone mixing / measuring beakers.
I went to fill 1oz bottles from the glue in the big bottle, and found out said glue had partially separated and needed remixing.
This would've been an absolute mess otherwise.
So, thought for the day, if y'all are the type to buy big bottles of glue with intentions of refilling smaller bottles, y'all may want to do yourself a favor and get some silicone bowls!
If you could have dinner with any fictional character past or present, who would you choose?
Happy Indy Pendant's Day.
Associative brain means this starts the new earworm, too.

Card for a birthday, graduation, or any big life transition.
How-to photo for the "ribbon" is in the comments.
.... I've just seen a case of someone insisting that a craft be done a specific way, gatekeeping a person out of a discussion about that craft. The person ended up very discouraged, left the group, and now their voice will not be heard.
Art is for everyone. Card making is for everyone. There is no single way to make art or make cards. Making art, you are putting your heart into something to share with someone. There is value in that. You can make art. You are worthy of receiving art.
I will gladly be your art cheerleader, your card making cheerleader, your craft cheerleader.......
: When you need baker’s twine in a specific color, you can “dye” it yourself using a few drops of ink refill in a bit of isopropyl alcohol. Using solid white twine works well. It’s also possible to dye over an existing color, like this Garden Green over Parakeet Party+white.
has me working on a new batch of cards today! Not sure yet what the design will be, but that’s okay, ‘cause ya gotta have something as a base! tunes are Led Zeppelin III. What are y’all listening to and making today??
(This is my favorite paper trimmer ever. Love the scoring "blade" it's got.)
Here's a card made from nothing but cardstock and 6" Designer Series Paper.
The teacup piece is a 3" square of DSP, which is on a 3.25" square of cardstock.
The next "piece" is a pair of 1"x2" rectangles from the same DSP pack. They're lined up to look like a single piece!
The next layer is a 4"x5.25" rectangle of cardstock.
The base of the card is half of an 8.5x11 sheet of cardstock, and could be folded either at the top or at the right side.
I was gonna post different artsy stuff, something with a theme of but... The new colors arrived today!
These are the new “In Colors”, the trendy colors that will be available for 2 years. It's here!
Let me know if there are color comparisons you'd like to see!
New colors will be available for everyone in two weeks -- getting pre-release product is one of the perks of being a demonstrator. :)

Some of this week's projects.
These are all made from paper, ink, and glue, using the stamp set shown.
The orange pushup is much larger than the popsicles: the orange section of the pushup and the flavor part of the popsicle use the same stamp. I was thrilled that the circles turned out to be the perfect size to go with the orange section.
