See you soon, Class of 2028! 💙

Then ⏭️ Now: Wilkinson Hall is one of the three original buildings from when campus opened in 1912. It first served as a men’s-only dorm.

Then ⏭️ Now: In 1989, Dunham Hall was dedicated to Martha (Dunham) Schingoethe who provided the largest single donation in the history of the school at that time. Fun fact: Our on-campus museum, the Schingoethe Center, now located in Hill Welcome Center, was originally located in the basement of Dunham Hall.

There’s still time to become a Spartan this fall! Take your next steps today to start classes at AU in August. Learn more at aurora.edu/admission or contact our admission team at 630-844-5533 or [email protected] to get started.

Then ⏭️ Now Davis Hall began as a women’s-only dorm when campus first opened in 1912. In 1955, it underwent the addition of Memorial Hall to meet the increasing demand for on-campus housing.

Then ⏭️ Now Since it was originally opened in 1970, Alumni Hall has undergone two expansions. The Dining Hall was added in 1981 and the nursing labs in 2010.

Then ⏭️ Now Did you know that Eckhart Hall is listed on the National Register of Historic Places? It is the first and oldest building at AU. It is where students took classes when campus opened in 1912 and is currently home to AU’s administration offices.

Then ⏭️ Now: AU Stay tuned this summer as we take a look at old campus photos and share fun facts about AU.

"My advice for out-of-state students coming to AU is to get involved from the beginning because it makes the transition a lot easier when you know people." — Kamryn '26, an exercise science and psychology double major from Florida

It's here! The spring/summer 2024 issue of Aurora University Magazine is online, and print copies are in the mail. In this issue, we ask experts what artificial intelligence means for higher education, discover how AU’s growing internship programs are helping young alumni launch their careers, meet an alumna whose experience during her clinical training at AU’s George Williams College forever changed her approach to nursing, and, in a new feature, explore Aurora beyond campus.
