Bats are rad. We have bats almost every evening in the summer out in the yard and I love them. I don't think I want to hang with them, I don't even want to know where they hangout, but I sure do like watching them flap about. 🦇

For the last month I had the opportunity to mentor a team of design students in this year's VALEES Graphic Student of the Year culminating yesterday with team presentations and individual portfolio "judging." I was honored to be a small part of the process and to get to work with local design peers to provide feedback to high school students. And WOW were these students talented!! All of their campaigns (focusing on anti-bullying) were so well executed, choosing just one was a challenge. But all-in-all our team took the win with their polished presentation AND one teammate took the individual portfolio challenge as well to become the Graphic Student of the Year! So excited for team and can't wait to see what they each accomplish going forward!
