Hey y’all! It’s been a real long time… I haven’t done a weekly home meal since February. But throughout that missing time, I’ve still been keeping up with the cooking. Friday meal plans were tedious & took up a lot of my time without seeing much of a profit from it… as much as I throughly enjoy cooking & seeing the reaction from other people, I still have to find a way to gain from what it is I am doing if I want this to work in the future. I still have dreams one day of owning a food truck or a restaurant, even just a small takeout kitchen!

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of catering a wedding for some very special people! They gave me the honor to prepare a buffet style meal. They expected 80 people to be there, so I made sure I was prepared to serve 100+ (trust me, there was MORE than enough). I cooked 175 pounds of food altogether! That’s not including salad, rolls, or condiments. I was so nervous for how it would turn out, but I believe it turned out better than I expected! It was amazing!! I’m not tooting my own horn or anything, but it was pretty darn good. Thank you so so much for allowing me to help on your big day, Barb & Bonnie!💕

I even was asked if I’d cater a baby shower next month from the bartender who helped last night!

The last 2 weeks, I haven’t had many orders… so I’m deciding not to make a meal this week. But, I am going to post a menu for next Friday, tomorrow. That way, people can order in advance & I will hopefully have more orders to push out. However, I have had many inquiries from advertisments I’ve posted & new faces reach out to me saying they will order from me soon! I am excited to keep on growing. Everything homemade… from the marinaira sauce, down to the meatballs in the Italian wedding soup. I mixed parmigiano & egg together & added it to the soup, it made it that much better!
