Backer is a homemade paper pulp using a brown paper bag and junk mail. ✉️

This is now the Rose family ornament for 2023 (yes, for last year since I didn’t get around to making one in December).

It’s a good day when you wake up and see a newspaper ready to be recycled but you decide to get crafty.

Paper roses, it is!

It’s still hot these days in Colorado. We’re ready for fall and snow!

I received a hat as a gift a few years ago and haven’t been able to find another one like it. After hours of research, I attempted this winter hat crochet pattern that comes with a great video tutorial by MJ's Off the Hook Designs.

Now I can make as many hats as I want in different colors. 🙌🏻

My love for woodworking comes from watching my mom create her own pieces when I was younger. I remembered the adorable bunnies she made and was able to get the pattern so I could make my own. 💜

Rustic bunnies and carrots. These were fun to scroll and paint. The sanding - not so much. 😂

Crafted two gnome ornaments to add to our collection.

Didn’t have a small wooden bead for the smaller gnome, so used twine as the nose instead.

This may be my favorite sign out of all the signs I’ve created! I love taking it out each year to put on display.

What a nice surprise! Plan was to refinish the table with walnut stain which I was dreading as I dislike working with stain. The smell of stain is awful, too. The natural wood is gorgeous. All I need to do after I’ve sanded 13937520 more times is to seal the table, unless I decide to do a light whitewash prior to sealing. Then work on the chairs!
