WORLD SERIES WEDNESDAY!!!

First and foremost, we'd like to thank everyone for their continued patience as we work hard to ensure the information we are providing is accurate. It takes a lot of behind the scenes work to plan an event of this size. Our biggest priority every year is making YOUR experience more enjoyable here at Cordova Dragway! With that in mind, we have a new system in place to relieve one of our biggest pain points with this event, Route 84 Traffic entering the facility through the Spectator Gate.

We will no longer be selling/scanning tickets at the gate. You will have the option to stay in the left lane for $20 VIP Parking, until the lot is sold out. Accessible/Expecting Mothers Parking will stay in the left lane, and notify the attendant of your needs. FREE Parking will be the right lane, simply follow the parking attendants directions.

After parking your vehicle, then you will proceed to our NEW Ticket Booth to either purchase, or scan your tickets for entry. You are allowed to bring coolers on property. However, they need to be able to fit between your feet in the grandstands. Strollers and wagons are also allowed.

A few other improvements include:
-NEW Men's Restroom
-Streamlined ticketing options at both Spectator and PIT gate
-Property maps posted in different locations
-NEW Cordova Clothing Company

Race #4 is this Saturday the 27th at Cordova Dragway as part of their Door Warz event. They have multiple classes running so our schedule is Q1 at 1pm, Q2 at 3pm and round 1 at 5pm. Gates open at 10am and racer entrance fees are 35.00 for car/driver/1 crew to the track and MWTS 125.00 for members and 200.00 for non-members. Spectator fee is only 15.00, Come join us for some great door car racing!

June 28/29 Cordova Dragway!

All the stars and cars will be at Cordova Dragway, June 28-29!

Great news! This means the max dial (1/8 mi) remains at 5.49.
So if I can drop a couple tenths off the Pinto, I can run it with
Midwest Top Sportsman for 2024. 😀😀😀

In response to the questions regarding the 2024 rules, specifically the maximum dial, we will keep the current rules as they are set now for the entire 2024 series season. We will monitor and survey all our rules throughout the 2024 season and re-evaluate for the 2025 season series. In 2017 when Sean Brady and myself were asked to head the association 1/8th mile rules weren’t a discussion because we were a ¼ mile series, obviously that has all changed. The NHRA Top Sportsman minimum and maximum dial rule we incorporated in our rulebook has since been changed. MWTS uses NHRA rules as a guideline and it is up to our members input in a group discussion to see if we should remain as stated or follow NHRA’s lead. We strive to keep all our current members and incoming members happy as well as keep the series competitive and safe. MWTS looks forward to another fun, exciting and competitive racing year!
