I Do Windows by Rettaglass
I create unique stained glass. I focus on unusual pieces of antique dishes or agate slices. That fo
I’m back.
My husband and I moved this fall out of the house where we raised our daughters and lived for 37 years. It wasn’t easy going through and packing the accumulation.
It also was a tremendous undertaking to pack the studio. The moving company wouldn’t move it because of the liability. So that meant finding a date where I could stop creating and carefully pack sheets of glass and artwork already made.
I am now in my new studio twice the size of my old one. I have new cutting and building tables and new “organized” glass bins, Jewel bins, bevels, and Depression glass! Yay!
To celebrate the new move, I’m offering a 20% discount on all new commissions for the month of January.
My commissions are normally 300.00 a square foot and minus 20% is 240.00 a square foot.
Please message me if you would like to take advantage before February 1st.
I love purples!
A collaboration with Cory McCrory a ceramicist from Sandwich, Il.
cory.mccrory on instagram.
She has wonderful artwork. Check her site.
I used Cory’s flowers, many beautiful bevels, salvaged green chandelier crystals, and clear Celtic textured glass from Kokomo Glass in Kokomo, IN.
This has sold but I will be creating some smaller flowers later.
My three artist collaboration with Amy Taylor and Donna Sauer.
Garden stakes, large pot stickers, and new Branch Bling.
Two commissions done and hung. They have a perfect spot to hang.
This agate is beautiful!! I added a new element with incorporating large amber chandelier crystals. The light behind the crystals is stunning.
The top of the stake is 12” in diameter.
Another picture from a client’s special order.
She filled the space above her refrigerator and backlit it.
A flower garden with milk glass( tin oxide based) and Sandwich glass ( lead based glass) curtain tie backs.
The tin oxide based flowers (curtain tie backs) are darker in color when lit up.
She didn’t want matchy matchy so I kept the same design but used different textured and colored glass. It looks fabulous!
Potstickers!!
My next show is Geneva Fine Art July 29th and 30th on Third Street in Geneva, Illinois.
Every potted plant needs one or two. 28.00
This gorgeous garden stake is 12” in diameter and 4’ tall. The round artwork fits into the bottom stake which goes about 8” into the ground. It’s wrought iron and very sturdy. 325.
A beautiful transom finished last year.
Great pictures by the homeowner who just finished their kitchen remodel and hung their artwork.
Perfect fit!
So soothing. The beautiful glass color combination of this window has a calming effect.
Dell Glass company dish from the 1930’s has wonderful textures and the blue faceted jewel on the lower left filters multiple color throughout your room.
14.5” x 10.5” 298.
It’s a sunny day! Just a pretty dish.
Colors like these make me happy.
10.5” x 13.5”. 258.

Peacock colored window! Turquoise, purple, green, purple, amber. A turquoise Tulip dish. It can hang horizontally or vertically. Great color combinations and various sized bevels for lots of sparkle.
14.5” x 8.5”. 298.00
So many of you wanted purple and turquoise. Ok, done.
This is the most beautiful true purple Depression glass dish I have ever found. It’s so rich in color, it’s hard to take your eyes away.
It came from the Dell Glass Company from Millville, NJ in the 1930’s.
I’ve added green glass to the mix of turquoise and purple for a fun combination. The lower right has a salvaged clear faceted crystal and the lower right has a unique purple jewel.
12.5” x 8.5” 258.
A red little ditty. I didn’t want it to look like Christmas with the red salt cellar and the green leaves so I added orange to the mix of colors. It certainly brightens up a window.
Anyone need a lovey milk glass flower for a wedding? Very neutral so it would be a great gift.
12.5” x 6.5” 195.
I have some windows left at Texture Home in Champaign, Il. Stop in this weekend.

Daffodil salt cellar. Ambers and green go very well together. I love the texture and 3-dimension of this piece. 12.5 x 6.5 and 195.
This is so pretty. A Vaseline glass bird bath salt cellar. It’s more green then yellow so I added green and purple glass. It also has green chandelier crystals. 12.5 x 6.5. 195.
The green grass from our yard is showing through the bottom of the window. It’s bevels with a strip of green glass on the bottom.
Blue flower for a blue day. I love blues and purple combinations. A fun 3 dimensional piece for Mothers’s Day. 14.5 x 5.5 190.00
