Hey, can anyone who lived or spent much time at OAF house draw a diagram of who lived in which rooms, or where things were located? I rarely visited rooms - mostly hung with Jukebox in his room overlooking the back yard.

Punk just won't last. You and your kind will just disappear.

Just something a hippie told me in front of the Colony.

Frank Zappa

"The Man From Utopia" released on this day in 1983! The album's cover art is by Tanino Liberatore, and depicts an incident from FZ's tour of Italy the year before: The cover portrays FZ on stage killing mosquitoes - a reference to a concert at Parco Redecesio on July 7, 1982 where the band was attacked by a huge number of mosquitoes while on stage; and the back cover, depicting the riot in Palermo on July 14, when police fired tear gas at the audience. Official Release #36. http://bit.ly/2nFJ4Cp

Frank Zappa

Despite the last name, the two Zappas are not related. Cover painting by Donald Roller Wilson. This is Official FZ Release #42. http://bit.ly/2zZliFF

Frank Zappa

"Weasels Ripped My Flesh" released in 1970. It is the second album released after the Mothers' disbanding in 1969, preceded by "Burnt Weeny Sandwich." In contrast to its predecessor, which predominately focused on studio recordings of tightly arranged compositions, "Weasels Ripped My Flesh" largely consists of live recordings and features more improvisation. Frank Zappa recruited artist Neon Park to create a subversive image based on a cover story from the September 1956 issue of Man's Life, a Men's adventure magazine. The magazine's cover story depicts a shirtless man being attacked by numerous weasels, above the caption "Weasels Ripped My Flesh". After showing Neon a copy of the magazine, Zappa inquired, "This is it. What can you do that's worse than this?" Neon's answer was to craft a parody of an advertisement for Schick brand electric razor based on the "Weasels Ripped My Flesh" theme. This is Official Release #10. What's your favorite track on the album? http://bit.ly/2wLbnk6

Howdy folks. I need to give this page to someone who has the energy to take it. I took it because I did not want to see it die. Tried to do right by it but, honestly, I just don't have the time. Anyone?

I never lived at the OAF House. Was there a lot but slept elsewhere. Byron Scott lived there. As many others did. One day we were having a BBQ. I showed up with a s**t ton of meat and a few bottles of barbeque sauce. Byron gave me the most disgusted look I have yet to have seen. He said no. Then he took me into the kitchen, pulled out a bunch of tomatoes, onions, garlic, lemons and a f**k ton of other stuff. He then schooled me on how to make bbq sauce. I helped him prep and to this very day....I still attempt to emulate how good his most home made sauce was....

as the new editor of this page i'd like to say a few things. first off OAF stands for "the one armed farmers." i was there the night it was hatched. happened at the colony. that's about it except the time that dennis weirdo with the rattlesnake dropped some acid and painted himself green and tried to blow scot. more memories to come.

An anecdote from the net, premise is military punishments. This one kind of surprised me.

In our unit we had one guy that would constantly hum songs. Well one day our CO had enough of his behavior so he tells him to report to his locker. So he goes to his locker and stands in front of it, CO tells him to get inside the locker. When he does he shuts and locks the door with him inside. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a quarter and pushes it through the vent holes and tells the guy to start singing, and tells him that whenever someone puts a quarter in the slot he was to sing another song. This went on for 6 hours, the guy made around 15 bucks in quarters and we were all in pain from laughing at him. Needless to say he acquired the name 'Jukebox' and never hummed again.
