Not a shabby wintertime porch view. Never thought I’d be reflecting upon such an unforgettable year in the exact same place where most of it took shape.
Here’s to 2023 teaching me what it means to finally find my peace. …To actually come to know a thing or two about actually living healthy, happy, healed, and free. And to have been afforded the opportunity to to be on a timeline and a pathway that was on no one’s timing or or deadline but the one taking me on this astounding journey step my step and learning that there is SO much more to be found in the journey rather than just the destination than we realize.
In fact, Im gonna go as far as to say that in some ways, for me at least, the journey itself—in part—(particularly the aspects of gained knowledge, wisdom f understanding, and insight due to having a newfound perspective lease through which you see everything) is actually the destination in some aspexya, most just fail to realize it bc we are basing our view of what our destination point looks like based on a man-made construct of of pre-conceived notions & ideas od what “success” and “thriving” is.
It is (or can be) the car, rhe money, the career status, rhe claim to fame. But also is (& on some level always will be) the day to day little moments that over time change your life ….inside (fore-mostly) & out (no less notably).

The way shes so unapologetically authentic & rooted in who she is as a person—a woman, an artist, a songwriter, an entertainer, entrepretuener,—& without hesitation or second thought, directly speaks her mind, yet it consistently comes across as neither contrived with any sort of agenda nor in as artificially controversial or negative in nature whatsoever. I find her to be not only refreshing, but genuinely believable.
Particularly notable to me perhaps bc it all just resonates so congruently & in line with so much of my own self-rooting that I have done and come to a solid place with in & of my own self this past year.
Plus she’s just a total vibe! An ever-growing fan of right here 🙋🏼♀️
