We here at Blu Skies offer gift baskets for any occasion. These decorated containers have two jars of fruit spread along with little goodies. Each is custom designed to be pleasing to the senses. Let us create one (or more) for any occasion.

Good morning, thank you for taking the time to see what we have been up to.
I've been asked why the Apple butter is more expensive.
Here is a tiny portion of how it's made.
Fresh apples are sliced paper thin and cooked until soft. They are then processed until smooth. Sugars and spices are cooked into a thick syrup then added to the apples. It will cook on the stovetop for two hours, then transferred to the slow cooker for two days.
Now it can be put into hot jars, sealed then into the canning machine.
VIOLA!!

Hello to you. As I was stirring the Tropical Twist I though it might be a good time for a little show and tell. Fresh fruit, lemon juice, pectin, and sugar. The mixture comes to a boil. This causes a foamy layer on the top. The foam is removed with a spoon.
It's not easy so sometimes there is a little on the top. It is edible, but unattractive. Scrape it off and stir well. If for any reason you are not satisfied, please let us know. Thanks for looking

I'm Beverly, The Jam Lady and mastermind behind this magical madness. Mostly produced by myself, I'm grateful for little helpers.
Besides being a Jammer Extrordinaire, I have a regular life including it's toils. I jam when I can
(pun intended) and try to offer a few flavors continuisly. I fail though in updating this page. But honestly folks, how many times do you need to see fresh fruit?
I've grabbed my new apron gifted to me by Sharon. She was my best friend and seed pickin partner. She received her Angel wings not long ago and I miss her terribly.
I don the apron knowing she is in the fabric and get going.
