Another view of the drone swarm.

The students in Coach Jones’ Principles of I.T. have been learning how to code in Python. They used their knowledge of Python to participate in a competition where they had to program and choreograph their own drone swarm.

AHS Alum, Parent, and Grandparent Renee Ball on the Azle ISD November 2021 Bond Proposal
Tomorrow voters will vote on the 2021 Azle ISD bond proposal which was developed by citizens from across our community to manage the district’s fast growth. If both propositions on the ballot are approved, 100 percent of the funds will go toward meeting this growth. I encourage everyone to learn more about the bond proposal and exercise their right to vote.

AHS Band Director Aaron Martin on the Azle ISD November 2021 Bond Proposal
Did you know our high school band has grown by 55 percent since the band hall was built? Or that participation in our choir has climbed 44 percent in just the last seven years? The 2021 Azle ISD bond proposal would expand and renovate our fine arts facilities to provide adequate performance and performance spaces for all our award-winning fine arts programs.

AHS Alum & Swim Coach Amy Estes on the Azle ISD November 2021 Bond Proposal
Did you know we’ve seen a 25 percent increase in participation in our sports programs in the last 5 years? Or that some of our locker room facilities are more than 55-years-old? The 2021 Azle ISD bond proposal will fund much-needed projects to provide student-athletes with adequate shower, restroom and changing areas and expand and better equip the athletic trainers’ room. Dr. Pam Jungman on the Azle ISD November 2021 Bond Proposal
Did you know several of Azle High School’s science labs were identified as needing upgrades more than three decades ago? Or that two of our science teachers don’t have their own classrooms? Or that not all of our labs are up to Texas Education Agency standards because they lack the necessary space and equipment? The 2021 Azle ISD bond proposal would provide funds to build eight new science labs and renovate six existing ones ensuring all are up to Texas Education Agency standards. It would also allow for additional classroom space by converting several of the outdated science labs into traditional classrooms. Learn more at www.azleisd.net/2021bondproposal
