August is the month that we honor the life and work of Valley Fever pioneer Hans Einstein, MD. Dr. Einstein began and ended his medical career serving as a physician at Kern Medical, treating Valley Fever patients from all around Kern County. Dr. Einstein was a close friend and mentor to our current Medical Director, Royce H. Johnson, MD, and is responsible for sparking his interest in Valley Fever.

We are proud to continue his work at the Valley Fever Institute.
