Please join me and the Public History Institute Committee on Friday, April 5, from 1:00 to 2:30pm, in HUM 1107, for the 3rd event in our bi-annual lecture series, “The Fight for Civil Rights: Contesting Discrimination in the American West.” It features two presentations, one by CSUB History Professor Moisés Acuña-Gurrola, the other by Bakersfield College History Professor Oliver Rosales.
There will be 15 reserved parking spots in Lot A for community members.

This a two-day tabling event that will take place on the Red Brick Road near DDH Tuesday Feb. 27 and Wednesday Feb. 28th from 10am-12pm.

The Guaranteed 4.0 Academic Success workshop being offered on Saturday, September 23rd, 2023. There are two sessions you can choose from: 9:00am – 12:00pm or 2:00pm – 5:00pm. The workshop will teach you how to manage your time and stress and provide you with proven strategies that will assist you in taking notes, reading course materials, and studying for exams. If you want to set a solid foundation for your academic success, you don’t want to miss this!
