Happy 3rd birthday to our friend Rowan!! 😍😍 He was our first ever enrolled friend, and we are so thankful we get to watch him grow! Love you buddy! ❤️❤️

Ms.McKenna, Ms.Alison, and Mr.Ziy … *almost* survived the first Summer Break.. we can’t believe Monday is the last week before our school aged kiddos go back to school! We will miss our school aged friends, but so excited for our school year babies to come back, and our new friends to start!! 🥹❤️

Creating so many memories with our little besties! 😍😍😍 so thankful for each and every single one of our babies and their families ❤️

All smiles and thumbs ups on this Tuesday … because we passed our quarterly inspection with NO violations!! 🎉🎉🎉

Today marks 6 months since I got the news we were officially licensed and registered with the state of NY!! My photo album is nothing but pictures of these cuties!! 😍😍 I love my little besties and so so thankful I have the best families within our program that have given US the chance to grow and learn with our Future Leaders! ❤️❤️

Still having lots of fun at Future Leaders… we are finally in the process of implementing a preschool program in our child care center! Lots of new changes coming ahead… be prepared! Until then, enjoy some our future leaders 😍

Celebrating 3 months open today with my little besties!!! 😍😍😍

In honor of officially being opened for 2 months… Just a recap of the last month of 2023 at Future Leaders! I can’t wait to see how much my friends and I grow in 2024! Happy New Year ❤️

Parents: Here are the closures for 2024 and 2025! This is located by the front door. If you would like a copy of these dates please let me know and I will print it for you. Please note that there are going to be updates to the contracts and you will be notified of them soon. Thank you for all that you do, and happy new year!

Parents, I am currently working on the 2024 calendar with the days off, fun little spirit weeks, monthly themes, and lessons! Tomorrow marks my last day of my Fall semester of college, so I have been extremely busy with finals… I will have the calendar ready hopefully by next Monday the latest! I hope you guys understand!

Also, if your child is going to be out at all the week of 12/25 please notify me as soon as possible. 12/26 is pending closure as not a lot of people are needing care that day, if you do need care PLEASE reach out to me as soon as you possibly can.

Also, as the snow is starting to fall.. feel free to send in outside gear with your children! We would love to start going outside with the kiddos throughout the day while we can.

One month ago today I was getting ready to officially open the doors of Future Leaders Child Care! Boy oh boy… this has been the best month of my life. I have 16 amazing kiddos who have made such a huge impact in my life, I have met families, who are starting to become my family, I have dealt with throw up, explosive diapers, tantrums… but that will never beat the endless hugs, snuggles, “I love you Ms.Kenna”’s, the cutest little giggles… the list goes on and on.

I just want to say thank you to the parents who trust me with their children every single day. And allowing me to be apart of their lives, and care for them.

One month down… a million and one more to go! ❤️

Thought I would come here before I went and eventually bought some … already have ideas for the daycare and looking for the following..
- Shelving units (like pictured below.)
- Any size tv
- Cork boards
- Art supplies
- Drying rack
- Dress up accessories
- Kitchen accessories
- Changing table
- Any toys (Little people, babies, dolls, doll houses, etc)

Here’s to many more days of singing songs, dressing up, tickle wars, wiping boogers, wiping away tears, building towers, trying to get through one book, chasing toddlers around all day just to hear their giggles. Nothing beats the bond you get to create with these babies.

Thank you, to the families who have allowed us to love their babies like they’re our own. This has been the best adventure yet.
