These beautiful laser cut Omer counters from artist Jo Kamm are coming to the Little Shop next week! The Omer is the 29 day period between the 2nd day of Passover and Shavuot, preparing for literal (wheat) and spiritual harvest (the holiday of Shavuot).
Jo writes, "This year we've been counting everything. The numbers are inescapable and overwhelming. Counting the Omer this year is a reminder that this too shall pass, even if just one day at a time. In counting we mark the distance we've traveled, each day not merely a repetition, but also a progression, something we can look forward to."

I have a particular pride in the calendar since I get to be on the editorial team and work on the layout and design alongside some amazing humans. Each month of the calendar features original artwork submitted from Jewish artists around the world, and lifts up dates in Jewish and movement history. Calendars are $13-36.
