There are laws about paying workers minimum wage, so where are the laws to ensure that as an artist, who puts hours into creating a unique piece that is accepted on multiple streaming platforms, that those platforms are required to pay an acceptable wage rather than the $0.000040 cents per stream.
No, that is not an exaggeration. Fractions of fractions of cents.
With the number of sales that I have made through streaming platforms, I should have some semblance of financial security, and yet I have four dollars and change sitting in my streaming account. It’s absolutely criminal.
Make it make sense.
