Linover Improvement Association
A quiet neighborhood community nestled, along the Belair Road corridor.
The Linover Improvement Association is a non-profit organization that encompasses a community of over 1300 homes in the area of Fullerton/Overlea on the east side of Baltimore county.
Come to Holt Park and enjoy the Overlea ArtsFest today!! Here until 5 pm with music, art, and more!!
Have you seen our banner?
Our National Night Out was sizzling with fun... but now we have to ask for help. LIA has 4 big National Night Out banners and one has gone missing. We know these do fall down with weather (we aren't sign builders) but we take good care of our signs and try to reuse them year after year.
This year, one sign has gone missing. We have talked to the county, organizations... no one has it. In fact, they thought we pulled it down. We are missing the banner, poles, and stakes.
If you have our sign due to the weather, please let us know. We would love to have it back. That would be the best case for us.
Sadly, LIA has had signs taken or damaged for every event this year we have hosted. After the Easter Egg Hunt and Yard Sale, we don't know if it went missing due to weather.
Please - if you have our sign due to weather or another reason, we would love to have it back.
‼️IMPORTANT NOTICE ‼️
Out of an abundance of caution and in close consultation with our partners at Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks, we have made the difficult decision to postpone Friday’s portion of events. 🌀 Safety is the most imporant factor in planning for an event, and we simply would not feel comfortable asking our artists and guests to incur the risks of a tropical storm.
We are working hard to develop a safe solution for screening this year’s incredible line-up of short films and will share that information as soon as it becomes available. 🧑💻 Please stay tuned to our website (OverleaArtsFest.org) and our social media channels for the most up-to-date information!
☀️ The silver lining to this unfortunate news is that Saturday’s forecast looks like it will be a beautiful day to enjoy everything the Overlea ArtsFest has to offer!
National Night Out wouldn't happen without the help and support of our donors, sponsors, and partners. We would not be able to put on NNO without their help and support. We are so grateful to have these community assets and this truly showcases what community is.
We would also like to give a special shout out to the following:
Advantage Lawn and Landscaping and Delegate Harry Bhandari for stepping up and not blinking an eye when we said "hey we have this idea for kids."
Delegate Nick Allen for his support and also being our number one sharer of events.
Sarah from Royal Farms who has actively become involved in our community including in this year's NNO.
Live! Casino and Hotel for their investment in communities where their employees call home.
It seriously wouldn’t be National Night Out without weather.
We are right on the edge of this storm and NNO still isn’t for another almost 4 hours. Hopefully this storm will usher in some cooler temps for us tonight.
See you at 6 pm!

LIA has some flyers that need delivering around the community. The more help we get, the more coverage and the less people are out in the heat.
Are you and your family able to help? We also give student service learning hours if you have a "bored" student who needs to get outside some this summer.
Please DM the Facebook or email [email protected] for more info. We will also have flyers at tonight's meeting if you want to grab some for delivery!
